Unda is flowing, hence its name. When you see the furniture for the first time you have the impression that it is moving. The carvings in the wood run wrap around the furniture in its entirety, giving it an organic, lively appearance.
The patterns that the water leaves on the sandy shores of the beach always attracted my attention, soft and harmonic forms, sculpted by the water in the sand. That was the effect I was looking for in the collection.
The premise for its development were these irregular grooves, the furniture had continuity in its 3 dimensions, the final result was a defined and elegant object. It was clear that the only material choice was solid wood.
After months of testing, we selected American walnut and ash, because after sculpting them they gave us a great chromatism, an interesting array of colours and shapes that could not be achieved with other timbers.
The result is a sculptural piece, sober and at the same time daring. Ideal for environments with character.
